Privacy Policy
Saving My Mondays is a personal journal. I don’t sell anything, I don’t run a newsletter, and I collect as little data as I can. This page explains what happens when you visit.
What this site does not do
- No accounts, comments or newsletter — so no names, emails or passwords from readers.
- No advertising or ad tracking. (If this ever changes, this page will be updated first.)
- No social media trackers or embeds. Share buttons are plain links; nothing loads from those networks until you click.
- Fonts and images are served from this site, so visiting doesn’t contact Google Fonts or similar services.
Cookies
The site sets one cookie, and only if you switch languages: NEXT_LOCALE remembers whether you prefer English or Turkish. It contains only en or tr, lasts a year, and is never used for tracking. No consent banner is needed for it.
Visitor statistics
I count page views with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It uses no cookies, doesn’t collect personal data or build profiles, and honours your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting. I only see totals such as how many people read a post and which countries visits come from.
Server logs
Like every website, the hosting provider briefly records technical information about requests (such as IP address, browser and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure. I don’t use these logs to identify anyone.
- Hosting: Vercel Inc. (USA)
- Database: Neon (EU region)
- Images: Cloudflare R2
Contact and your rights
Because I don’t collect personal data from readers, there is usually nothing to access or delete. If you contact me on Instagram or X, that conversation is governed by those platforms’ own privacy policies.
If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or Türkiye (KVKK), you have the right to ask what data is held about you and to request its deletion. Send a message via @savingmymondays.
